The original TRON (1982) was a milestone in special effects movies and though the film looks dated today it still remains an inspired adventure. TRON: Legacy picks up the story almost thirty years later with breathtaking effects just like the original in it's day. Bridges' (who also plays the film's villain, Clu with a digitally rejuvinated look) character Flynn disappeared over twenty years ago and now his son Sam (Hedlund Death Sentence, Four Brothers) finds his way to ol' dads workshop and soon finds himself in the computer world and on the Grid. TRON: Legacy is a techno adventure so to speak. It's also a magnificent and gorgeous experience to see in High Def on Blu-ray since the Grid is almost entirely mirrored surfaces and beautiful visual details. Some trademark scenes from the original have been sharpened to the sequel such as the bike chase and they all look amazing. TRON: Legacy is a massive visual treat and a decent adventure.
